SAFETY FIRST: Protective gloves and eyewear are recommended at this point.

Removal

Remove the rear brake adjusting nut and separate the brake rod from the cam lever. See the Brake Rod and Pedal topic for more information.

Remove the cotter pin from the torque link bolt.

Loosen the torque link nut with a 14 mm socket. Remove the torque link nut and washers.
